U.S. Commits $2.15B to X-Energy Advanced Reactor Program

The funding flows through the Department of Energy's Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program, an initiative designed to accelerate the development and deployment of next-generation reactor technologies toward commercialization. According to X-Energy CEO Clay Sell, the company was informed of the additional allocation this week, underscoring the administration's commitment to supporting innovative nuclear solutions as part of its broader energy portfolio.
