According to Bloomberg Markets, OfBusiness, the technology-enabled supply chain and financing platform backed by SoftBank, is evaluating the potential restart of its initial public offering in India. The company is targeting a fundraise of up to $800 million through the public market listing, people with knowledge of the matter told the news outlet.
The move marks a renewed effort by the company to access public capital markets after earlier IPO plans were shelved. OfBusiness provides digital infrastructure for supply chain management and financing solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises in India, a sector that has attracted significant venture capital interest in recent years.
The potential IPO would come as Indian technology startups face a more challenging fundraising environment, with capital availability tightening across the broader venture ecosystem. A successful listing would provide liquidity to SoftBank and other early investors while positioning OfBusiness for expanded growth in the competitive logistics and fintech spaces.
