Hoque Global has reached a significant milestone in the development of University Hills, completing the infrastructure phase of the ambitious $1 billion mixed-use project located near the University of North Texas at Dallas campus. The completion of this foundational work represents the first major phase of development and positions the project to move forward with its commercial and hospitality components.

The 280-acre development will eventually feature 1.5 million square feet of commercial space, 50 acres of dedicated green space, and a hotel component designed to serve the university and surrounding community. According to the Dallas Business Journal, developer Mike Hoque has also expressed interest in incorporating a stadium facility on the site, which could further establish University Hills as a regional destination and economic driver for the North Dallas corridor.

The completion of infrastructure work underscores Hoque Global's commitment to developing a comprehensive mixed-use community that balances commercial growth with quality-of-life amenities. As the project advances to subsequent phases, it is expected to generate significant employment opportunities and economic activity in the University Park area while supporting the growth of nearby UNT Dallas.
